Having Courage

From John 16, Jesus speaking: “. . . be having courage, I have conquered the world.”

From 2 Corinthians 5, Paul writing: “. . . we are having courage always, then, having perceived that being at home in the body, we are away from the Master. For we are walking through belief, not through perception. Yet we are having courage, and are delighting rather to be away from home, out of the body, and to be at home toward the Master. Wherefore also, we are ambitious to be well-pleasing to him. For all of us must be manifested in front of Christ’s platform, that each may be requited toward the things which he practices through the body, whether good, whether foul. Having perceived the fear of the Master, then, we are persuading humans . . .”
