We who hear and believe God, enter into his rest, which is Christ Jesus. Here we cease from our own works. We are like our Master who said, “I am not able to do anything from myself. The Father living in me, he does his works.” Now, our Father has said to us, “Sit at my right hand, while I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” And so here we sit, watching the show, watching our Father place all our enemies, one by one, under our feet.” It’s fun, it really is. If he want us to do something here on earth, he makes it happen, just like he did in Jesus when he said, “What’s easier to say, “You’re sins are forgiven,” or, “Pick up your pallet and walk”?” . . . offending the current religion, of course.
